We cannot believe we are already fast approaching September and almost in a flash we will be into the December season again. Time just does not seem to stand still anymore.
We have received hundreds of units on our books for the resorts which we handle, these beingUmhlanga Sands, Cabana Beach, Breakers, Beacon Island, Drakensburg Sun, Sabi River Hotel and Country Club and of course the Peninsula in Cape Town.
The good news for owners like yourself is that in spite of the state of the economy which is affecting everyone, demand has held up quite well as obviously the rand weakness has deterred many people from travelling overseas for their year-end holidays. A client of ours recently advised that he received a quote to go to Mauritius for ten days during the early part of December which amounted to a hundred and forty thousand rand for accommodation and air fares. Many people are still of the belief that the South African December holiday prices are through the roof and overseas holidays offer a cheaper alternative. We do not accept this and having just recently returned myself from a trip to Europe I am absolutely shocked at the cost of everything and one just has to switch your mind off and stop converting euro’s, pounds or dollars back to rands otherwise one’s entire holiday is totally spoilt.
If you have not already made your mind up as far as to whether to rent your timeshare holdings at the end of the year, we would certainly like to give you our estimates on your nett returns which I think you will find are surprisingly good. Remember we are quite prepared to match or beat any written quotation you may receive from other sources and with our enormous client base we can usually dispose of these units often in days rather than weeks.
This enables you to make alternative arrangements yourself knowing the contribution from the sale of your own timeshare units will go a long way to covering your holiday expenses.
We would however urge you to make a decision as soon as possible as often the prices realised can drop towards the final few weeks before December as there is a segment of the market that waits for prices to drop and expects to pick up holidays at bargain basement prices. Contact us urgently if you hold any units in December or early January at any of the above resorts and discuss your possible returns with our experienced staff.
Please ring us on 031-5614951 or e-mail us on firstname.lastname@example.org and give us information on units you would like to rent. We will return your calls or e- mails immediately.
